Get Inspired at Fall Home Shows, Tours
If you enjoy learning about the latest and greatest in home design and improvement projects, the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association (RRHBA) has some fun fall events on tap for you. RRHBA’s Fall Home Show, to be held September 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and September 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature more than 80 exhibitors displaying and selling the latest in home products and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the most current design trends, as well as attend workshops and demonstrations. New this year is “BARKitecture,” a fundraiser to support the Roanoke Valley SPCA. Unique, fun and functional doghouses designed and created by RRHBA builder members and board members and the SPCA will be sold in a silent auction with all proceeds to benefit the SPCA. Fall is also the time for RRHBA Parade of Homes. In this free self-guided tour, you’ll get an up-close and personal look at beautiful new homes showcasing the latest in building products, practices, design and furnishings in the Roanoke Valley area. The third annual tour will be held October 3 and 4, and October 10 and 11, from noon to 5 p.m. each day.
